    • Sora Visit Day: Our “day in the life of” experience, which students can preview at any time. These recorded adventures let students sit in on house meetings, attend classes, and preview student life on their own time–as soon as today!
    • Student Ambassador Office Hours: Our live weekly meetings are a great opportunity to connect with members of our student community! Whether your student has specific questions or just wants to know more about campus culture, this is a great way to learn more from a fellow student. Pro tip: follow up your asynchronous virtual visit experience by meeting synchronously with a current student!
    • Discovery Days: Our monthly live virtual events are designed as an overview to provide prospective students the opportunity to explore and learn more about the school and our program. Students will interact with faculty, staff, and current students, participate in class expositions, attend presentations, engage with student life, and experience Sora for themselves.
  • Student Application

Our admission portal lets you manage your application, view next steps, upload supporting documents, and track your progress. Here are the steps you will need to complete in order to submit your application for review.

    • Parent Questionnaire - Background information, family details, and insight into the student's passions, strengths, and opportunities for growth.
    • Student Questionnaire - The student shares more about their academic background and interests from their point of view. See our Student Questionnaire Guide.
    • Education Savings Account (ESA) - Indicate whether or not your family is interested in pursuing state-funded ESA opportunities. If yes, you will be directed to our ESA page for further information.
    • Flexible Tuition Acknowledgement - Indicate whether or not your family will be applying for need-based tuition assistance. If yes, you will be directed to the Clarity application, which must be completed at the same time as the admission application to be considered for aid.
    • Academic Records - Any coursework in progress for this current academic year, as well as complete academic records for the two previous school years. Unofficial records accepted for application, but will need official documents as part of enrollment. Homeschool record template available in application portal.
    • Teacher/Mentor Evaluations (2 required) - Evaluation requests will be sent directly via the application portal. Please have email addresses ready for both evaluators. Both evaluations may be completed by an academic teacher, advisor, administrator, or tutor. The second evaluation may alternatively be completed by a mentor, coach, or club/volunteer group leader. In the case of homeschool families, the parent/teacher may fulfill this requirement if no other educator is available.
    • Additional Supplements (optional) - May include letters of recommendation, portfolio work, and/or writing samples. We also accept the SSAT and/or Character Skills Snapshot - our school code is 2903. Finally, you are welcome to include a personal statement video (60 seconds, uploaded directly in the application portal), but none of these are required to complete your application.
    • Student Interview - 30-minute Zoom interview with a member of the Admissions Team.
  • Decision

Families are formally informed about the decision.
