Truly explore the sound of music

The Nature of Sound

We will take a deep dive into the manners in which sound is produced and recorded and all of the physics behind the music we know and love. From sounds to frequencies and amplitudes to wavelengths, students will visualize music and gain a better understanding of why certain sounds become radio hits and why some may say you’ve “probably never heard of them."

Students will have the opportunity to produce their own music, curate their own playlists, or even write their own critiques of artists and albums. Get your headphones ready because this Expedition is going to rock!
