Create Your Own Civilization

What is a civilization, and how do you build a strong and successful one? Over many millennia, we have seen numerous civilizations rise and fall; some civilizations being more successful than others.

Introduction

In this expedition, we will be exploring the foundations of government through the creation of a virtual civilization. We will learn about different elements of culture as seen in different civilizations throughout history, such as government types, written language, social structure, religion, the arts, etc. You will showcase your knowledge by building your very own virtual civilization, incorporating all the elements of civilization we learned about throughout the cycle!

Important Information: This expedition is the Cycle 1 ELA/World History A Pathways expedition option
