Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

DON’T PANIC! What are the answers to the universe? What will the future hold? What planet could be inhabitable? All these and more questions will be answered in this exhibition, as we read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!

Introduction

This interdisciplinary expedition will investigate satire, the point of reading, the science of space, and what the future might hold for humans to inhabit another planet. Picture this: scientists reviewing footage from the James Webb Space Telescope have discovered something entirely unheard of (and seemingly impossible): a time capsule from the future. The capsule appears to have originated from a distant planet in the year 2122 (100 years from now). Based on the findings within the time capsule, it appears that humans have inhabited another planet far off in the universe. In this expedition, you will use your knowledge of science, technology, human behaviors, and satire to curate the contents of this time capsule: one of these artifacts being your own original “Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” travel blog. If you like to laugh, consider the point of living, and explore the corners of the universe, this expedition is for you!
