We are a school that values thinking big in order to serve our student community. At Sora, students can pursue their interests and dreams through projects and a variety of Learning Expeditions–all in our tight-knit community. Come to our in-person Open House to learn about our unique program and our new physical, co-learning space in Roswell, GA!
Date: Wednesday, August 3rd
Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Through a partnership with Kaipod Learning, we offer the opportunity for our students to meet and learn alongside other students in-person in physical locations around the country.
In these co-learning spaces, your student will be matched with a peer group of 8-10 students supported by an experienced KaiPod Learning Coach that provides 1:1 academic support for the Sora Schools curriculum, leads collaborative enrichment activities, and facilitates socialization opportunities.
KaiPod Learning offers flexible part-time and full-time options.
At Sora, our teachers design online classes for middle and high school students that are interdisciplinary, engaging, and made relevant to today’s world–and all of it is academically accredited. Teachers help students scope their projects and are given many chances to demonstrate mastery of a concept — in other words, students are not penalized for not understanding a concept the first time around.
Sora’s engaging learning environment has one goal: to do online homeschooling differently. This is accomplished by providing a dynamic community complete with a mentor network, community-wide events, student showcases and more. Our faculty performs beyond the scope of traditional online homeschool teachers- we encourage students to stay curious and interested at our online learning academy.
Unlike traditional school, Sora marries the independence of a homeschool academy with a thought-provoking program that supports their growth and prepares them for their future endeavors.
