In 2019, Garrett Smiley founded Sora with a simple idea: school should fit the student and the family, not the other way around. Since then, we've spent seven years building the curriculum, platform and team to make that real.

Today, Sora Schools is part of Sora Education, a family of schools with one promise and different ways to learn. Whatever path a family chooses, it starts the same way: by knowing every student and family.
