Welcome to Sora

Thank you for your interest in applying to Sora. Our admissions events are designed to provide you with a wide range of perspectives on the Sora experience. Please do register for and attend as many as you’d like! If you have questions, reach out to an admissions counselor at any time.

Parent Preview

This virtual event serves as a way to connect personally with current Sora parents, hear their stories, ask questions, and learn more about how Sora gives students agency in designing a personalized and individualized curriculum. A member of the Admissions Team will also discuss the admissions process and our Flexible Tuition program. 1 hour

Open House

This virtual Open House is designed for both parents and students, and provides the opportunity to learn about every aspect of Sora Schools including individual projects, learning expeditions, independent study, our mentor network, and more! You will attend informative sessions held by our Admissions Team and faculty, meet our Learning Experts, Advisors, and students, and ask questions about the school and our admissions process. 2 hours

Admissions process

Fill out the student application, which will include a parent questionnaire, a student questionnaire, a 90 second personal statement video, and a request for your student’s academic records.

If you move forward in the admissions process, we will reach out to schedule a student interview

Sora is fully accredited for grades 9 through 12 by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
