Our family has been homeschooling for 11 years. We’ve faced challenges throughout our journey, such as working full-time and finding a curriculum that addresses our daughter’s learning style.
After much searching, we found a solution that’s been a game-changer for us: Sora. Sora is a project-based learning program that encourages creativity and independence, two of our homeschooling values. Transitioning to this live online program with real-world projects led by faculty has skyrocketed our daughter’s confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
In addition to the tremendous social, emotional, and educational growth our daughter has experienced, we have become surrounded by a community that values educational freedom and real-world learning as much as our family does. Our family began homeschooling in 2021 when traditional classrooms did not meet our son’s needs. While homeschooling was rewarding, we wanted him to have access to an array of teachers, a strong peer community, and more advanced opportunities as he approached middle school. That’s when we discovered Sora.
Sora’s project-based learning and unique classes, like Green Eggs and Hamlet, transformed traditional academics into something engaging that our son genuinely looks forward to. Unlike traditional virtual schools, Sora’s innovative, student-centered approach is designed specifically for online learning.
